Congregation Beth Torah, Overland Park, Kansas                                          July 2017-August 2022

  • Administered the Weiner Religious School (PreK-10th grade), including innovative family and teen-based virtual programming during the 2020-2021 academic year.

  • Supervised teaching staff of classroom educators, specialists, and teenage madrichim.

  • Oversaw Adult Education and Social Justice programming, both virtually and in-person; taught Melton as well as created and implemented courses for congregation and community members.

  • Spearheaded congregational social justice programming, including Vote No campaign in the summer of 2022.

  • Cultivated the school and synagogue’s social media presence.

  • Taught and mentored Confirmation students with a custom-designed curriculum featuring social justice, theology, and Jewish history.

  • Worked with community partners (Jewish and non-Jewish) to further Jewish education and awareness.

  • Actively participated in planning and programming with Rabbinical Association of Greater Kansas City and Educators’ Council.

  • Redesigned and revitalized Religious School by instituting new content, communication, and programming.

  • Created cloud-based communication system for families, utilizing apps and social media.

  • Implemented a madrichim program for teens; significantly increasing teen involvement.

  • Created new learning opportunities for staff and fostering involvement with the greater community for continuing education and professional development.
